4th of July Parade and Picnic - Our Independence Day celebration has a long history. The celebration begins with a festive parade led by Madison Fire Department truck. Neighbors and kids decorate bikes, trikes, scooters, strollers and walk Loruth Terrance. Line up begins at 11:15am at the East corner of Whitcomb Drive and Loruth Terrace. The parade starts promptly at 11:30am. The parade concludes in Orchard Ridge with picnic and games. The 2026 event was held Saturday July 4th. We always need 10-12 volunteer meat grillers and food servers each year. Please see our volunteer opportunities page to indicate your interest.
